I Love Carousels!

Does anybody else notice that I have the same shirt on in both pics?  These were taken at least three weeks apart.  As I like to repeat, “That’s weird!”  I guess this is my carousel riding attire!   “Yeehaw!”

I’m Adorable!

Mommy and Daddy put all kinds of pictures of me on their websites, but I think people are getting bored with the zoo pictures.

I LOVE popsicles!  Can you tell?

“A Dween One!”

Great Grandma Garrett let me have as many kinds as I wanted.  But Mommy said, “No More!” and I got a little mad.  But Gammaw took care of it!

Mommy was outnumbered!  (Actually , Grammaw listened to Mommy and I was the one outnumbered!)

Vacation in Indiana!

Mommy and I just returned from spending more than a week in Indiana with Grandma & Grandpa Garrett. Daddy came down and picked us back up after his week at camp with students.

We got to visit the Ft. Wayne Zoo before heading back home, too!

More pictures here.

My busy life as a PK

Posted 3 months, 3 weeks ago at 7:43 am, by Ella. 2 comments

So I’m a Pastor’s Kid. It seems like my family’s life never slows down and sometimes that’s okay - like when we drive 5+ hours down to Marion, Indiana to the college both my Mommy and Daddy graduated from for a weekend with students. On those weekends I get to go to my Grandparent’s house!

This past weekend was Junior High Weekend at Indiana Wesleyan and I was so excited I carried my own suitcase out to the car to get Mom and Dad moving along at a quicker-pace!

“See ‘im? See ‘im!”

I have a step stool that I can carry around all by myself.  I like to put it up to the window when Daddy leaves for work.  I like watching him walk to the church, but I can’t get the blinds up by myself.  All I have to do is ask Mommy, “See ‘im?  See ‘im?” (translation:  ‘See him?’) and then she puts the blinds up so I can watch Daddy.  I like to yell, “Daaaddeee! Bye,” but he doesn’t turn around.  Sometimes I get sad when he goes inside. Usually it takes me so long to get to the window that I barely get to see him before it is too late. I think my Daddy must walk really fast–you can do that with really LONG legs like Daddy has. Today I was ready, though!  I had the step stool in my hands before Daddy even left so I could watch him the whole way!  I was quite proud of myself!

(For some reason Mommy doesn’t leave the blinds up–maybe it has to do with the fact that she usually still has her nightgown on.  Nobody seems to care if I still have mine on when the blinds are up.)

Oh, and sometimes when I think it’s time for Daddy to come back home, I like to get back on my step stool and look for Daddy again.  Mommy says I look for him a lot.  I get really excited when I really do see him!  Somebody should tell Mommy to get this on video, cause I think I’m probably pretty cute!
